Power outage losses vs Noreco compensation?

    What if anything does Noreco II cover as far as food spoilage or appliance damage?

    For brownouts nothing. for Power Surges. make a claim but you will need paperwork, receipts etc to support the claim. I believe the Appliances have to be in warranty time.

    Should you make a complaint Noreco will likely advice you to buy a generator to avoid your food get spoiled. This is The Ph.

    Princess and i been gone now for 3 weeks starting in Northern Vietnam and working our way south to Saigon where we are now and haven't had a single blackout at all. In addition, even the very smallest of eateries/cafe's have WIFI internet and it's dead fast.

    IN March we spent a month in Cambodia and thailand and again, not one single flicker of a light or blackout.

    She's beginning to realize that Philippines is substandard living to the countries surrounding it. Sad, but true.

    30 Hours no power, we did not have a problem yet, but if it would have lasted till this morning our Neighbours and our Dogs and Cats would have had a feast...

    It's more fun in India.....300 million+ without electricity. Outages last two days.
