Hi guys just checking in to announce my arrival .... :D .... well be just getting my feet wet and having a look see .... already recognize a few nicks from other forums I belong to .... and yes I used the same nick here as I do there .... makes it easier to find friendly faces .... I am married to a Filipina and we live in Cebu City for the past 5 years but are looking to move to the Bacolod area .....(well a little south of it that is) probably 2nd quarter of next year .... already know some members that post here but only have seen one for sure .... anyway I'll just keep it short and sweet for now as I read some back posts and try to get up to speed .... I'm sure I will enjoy my stay here and possibly share some worth while info with the members ....
To be honest I'm not really sure as I haven't yet been there ... my asawa is from a little town about 20k (roughly) south of La Carlota .... but we don't want to live there .... a little to close if you know what I mean .... as we are coming from Cebu City we really don't want to live in Bacolod either ..... that's why we need to get over there and scout around a bit .... We are looking to get a multicab but first need someone who knows about them to help us decide what kind to get .... as we will be traveling back and forth from Toledo to Bacolod .... we are looking to buy a newly assembled one as apposed to buying a 2nd hand used one .... Thank you for the info about you living in Himamaylan City ..... I'll do a Google and check it out ....
Himamaylan is about 85kms south of Bacolod on the coastal highway ! . Its near & far enough from Bacolod about 1 1/2 hours, but you need transport of course. your more than welcome to come down & visit if you wish. regards Mark...
Thank you sir for the invite .... I think the first move will be more like a feeling out stage until we decide where to live permanently ..... hopefully we can get a place that will let us have a 6 month lease with another 6 months option ..... we have that here and have for the past 2 years .... works out much better for all parties concerned ..... not sure if we can find that there or not but it will allows us to further explore before settling into an area for good .....
