    Living near Sibulan.
Most of my neighbors I see have 20-40 feet mast with antenna at top for wifi.
Anyone had Smart put one of these up? Will they even do it? At what cost?
What are my other options if any for high speed internet here?

If high speed internet is really important to you, a study made by Google in April 2012 found the Philippines to be the second slowest in the world. Only Indonesia was slower.

How near Sibulan? Like San Jose, Amlan etc? How near the national highway are you? etc
If you have no other alternative, i.e. Phil Products(?), SkyCable, Globe, PLDT, Cruztelco, I'd seriously consider SmartBro Wireless, if you really want internet, since currently there isn't much else except USB 'plug & play' sticks.

I would say that it is a question of how much money you want to spend, for enough money you certainly will get fast Internet no matter where you live...

Installation cost used to be P1000, this included one 10 foot section of pipe. If you need to go higher that is extra, usually just the cost of materials. Often they can have you up and running in 24 hours. You must have line-of-sight to a tower. Speed will depend on signal strength. Others have mentioned other options you may have. I have used Smartbro and Globe. Globe may be slightly faster, but Smartbro is MUCH more dependable, and has much better customer service.

You might look into PLDT MYDSL.

thanks to shadow larry for good reply

Thanks to Shadow/Larry for that. Besides the P1000 do they charge additional for the low loss cable?
PLDT MYDSL requires a landline phone no?

The antenna they install comes with about 50' of cable. No phone needed for PLDT, but for a few extra pesos you can have one with.
