Dear Fellow Americans, This is a reminder on the SSA outreach to be held this August 23 and 24 at the Consular Agency library. Interviews will start at 10am on both days. Please pass this information on to other SSA recipients who might not be aware of the outreach and who have questions which they would like help with. Thank you and best regards John
So? What to they actually do at such "outreach" sessions except satisfy some internal bureaucratic requirement? Do they take emails for questions or you have to travel to Manila to attend?
That's a copy and paste from From U.S. Consular Agency Cebu. Nothing said about Manila. It also says it's to answer questions. If you want to know about all the internal bureaucratic requirements, I would suggest you attend and get back to us.
I do know you can call the SSA at the us embassy. They have a phone number listed on the US embassy Manila website Education | Embassy of the United States Manila, Philippines. WE used that a few months ago to contact them about the passing of my father. They will take your number and have to call back as I recall. Once you have an agent assigned to you you can call or email that agent. Many questions you may have can be answered by the SSA website itself The United States Social Security Administration.
Curious Guess that leaves me wondering why you posted it since you don't know much about it? In U.S. half the time they give erroneous answers to questions on the phone or they don't know, so I don't expect the Manila embassy is any different. But thanks for the reply.
