    This is an e-mail I just received, it's an old scam but I know several people that lost their account by responding to the fake link from Nigeria. They ask you for your username and password, then change your password locking you out and start sending bogus messages to everyone in your contacts to try and scam money.

    the best email-scams at present are all the faked facebook notifications. the endangered species are the ladies here, as they click on each link starting with a blue "F".

    followed by hotel booking verifications and paypal emails

    And they make it extremely easy for hackers by using a lame password like their name! LOL
