I went there about 4 years ago. Very nice people and places to explore. I went to the churches, the falls, the giant tree, and the lagoon/swimming area that might have a monster of some type. I had a local guide or three and that made the experience all the better. When I got back home I was looking at the videos I made. Oh my god, the church across the street from the Convent in Lazi must be haunted or have some kind of spirits making noises and sounds that were only captured on the video. There were no unusual sounds while we were walking around and enjoying the sights. I want to go back and do it all again. If you are driving careful going through clouds of smoke on the road.... people stand there so you cant see them.

Can you post the video on youtube? i love scary stuff and ive been telling my boyfriend (now my fiancee) how scary siquijor is before we went there a year ago. Im not scared but i want him to be scared just for the heck of it :D We stayed at Coco grove resort for 5 days. On the 2nd day we rented a motorbike and drove around. We went to the Lazi church but it was uneventful, nothing happened. 2 years ago, My friend lighted a candle at the back of the Lazi Church, her british husband took a picture of her and the flame of the candle in the picture looks like a dove so i was reli hoping we would feel anything, nada!! we got unlucky :(
