At the middle of the month I will be ordering materials for the build. if anyone has anything that they have surplus and wants to get rid of can you give me a PM and lets see if I can use it and lodge some beer money for you.

    Timber (for staging)
    Hollow blocks.
    roof sheets.
full bags of cement. sand and or gravel.
    back fill material

I am sure members will know the sort of thing i mean.

If anyone has a good supplier I could sure do with some contact details.

    Regards Jack P.

A friend from Pamplona did happen to say that rebar was $8 for a twenty foot length when he bought it sometime in the last decade, now it's something like $35

He must be buying from the family, or buying 12" and/or stainless rebar. We have been paying P350 for 16mm, and P150 for 10 mm.

:wink:As you can guess, we decided to Do our own purchasing. The Bill of Quantity, seemed well off the Screen. Then, that's the building game I guess.

I have 2 - 4" hollow block makers you can use if you want. For my projects I find it cheaper and much higher quality to make my own. I can also recommend my honest and hard working crew if needed.

Hi Ron, Thank you for the offer, maybe over the next week or so we can discuss this more fully.(the crew we can discuss after i have had a chat to the lady wife. Just for reference, how many blocks do you get to a bag. of cement? ( I know, that is sort of a piece of string Question!) also how many a day do you think is plausible to make? she will ask, Auditors, tend to ask Money related Questions.

Anyway I will PM you perhaps over the weekend and meet to have a chat maybe next week, if you have some time. if my memory serves me right You are in Subulan?
