Just bought 2 Honda CB 750s, one a 1994 and one 1987. Need to find a mechanic that can work on the things, anyone have any references? I have a guy in Cebu that does great a job on bigger bikes but he is only affordable to bring here when there are 3 or 4 bikes to work on and 3 or 4 guys to split the bill.
If you are looking for a very good, professional mechanic (not cheap) ,, why not go and talk with Peter ? He has a shop just behind El-Dorado resort. He works on anything from BMW to Harley, but I think his speciality is Suzuki as he was a dealer, shop owner, and racer in Switzerland...Miguel
hi, i am the , i do limited works on big bikes ,mostly japaneeses, i can do maintenance like replace cluth linings, balance carbs, replace wheels ball bearings, check on electricals problems, sometimes it goes further than i want, at this time i have a V-MAX with the engine open in my garage, thrust bearings need to be replaced on 2 connecting rods ; it depends what has to be done ,but right now i am quite busy, if you are not in a hurry prehaps we can look at the problem, you have to bring bike in my garage in Amlan or i can arrange to pick it up if not running .
Many claim to be......but many are not, pay your money and take your choice when it comes to 'big bike mechanics'.........
Well i know him well, and i Know he don't like to work on jap bikes !He is great on Harleys, true about japs bikes that's another story.
Thanks for all the replies. I ended up taking one of the bikes to a guy called Henry that is located one left turn past the El Oriente road, if heading towards Bacong. He had quite a few bigger bikes down there and he showed me some of the stuff he was working on. Older guy and seems like it won't be done in a hurry. Test trial, if it turns out ok I'll take the second bike to him.
Henri is a friend of mine, good mechanic ,he knows what he is doing ,but don't be in a hurry, he is a very busy guy,but you can trust him with his work, Claude Roadrunner.
