Thanks to all of you for the cheers and welcomes. For those who asked what part of Calif im from I am from suburb in Los Angeles, Downey. That area is my stompping grounds. As for here I am in Bantayan on L. Rovira St. and sometimes in Bacong. For the ones from Calif. Where are the In and Out's and no good mexican food here. For the ones from acrooss the pond. Dam I could go for good fish and chips. So thanks again. Maybe we can get together some time and share our views in person.

 

Hi, yes there is no In-N-Out Burger, but there is "good" Mexican food here if.......you make it yourself! Lee Plaza has taco shells which aren't bad if you warm them up a bit in a microwave or regular oven to crisp them up. The other taco fixings are readily available there too, like lettuce, tomatoes, hot sauce, salsa, and now, don't hold your breath, there is even hard cheddar cheese at LP too! Some people here even make their own tortillas, so don't give up hope on "good" Mexican food! :D

My wife makes a mean burger and potatoes are available if you want to make fresh fries. So, "good" burger materials are available here too, including Heinz Ketchup. :D
