A music festival featuring OPM Bands from Manila and Bacolod will be held November 9 at the St. Paul College, and Nov. 10 at Rizal Boulevard, both in Dumaguete City. Titled “Dagsa”, the festival will be participated in by the group of composer Ryan Cayabyab, contemporary OPM bands, and stars like Rico Blanco, Grupo Tribali, Tropical Depression, Sandwitch, Pedicab, Quest, and Great Soul, among others, in coordination with Video Republic and Tao Corporation of Jun Jun Sy. City Tourism officer Woodrow Maquiling Jr. said the whole stretch of Rizal Boulevard will be closed to traffic, from La Residencia going south, and a stage will be set up in the center for the performers. Maquiling said this is going to be a real street party and the concept is for people to converge with performers from Manila, get together, have fun and spend the night with original Pilipino music. He added that the activity is a teaser for the bigger Dagsa festival next year.*JG DAILY STAR: Negros Oriental Larry
Elmer Dado with Groupo Triballe will perform on the 10th at the boulevard, they play really good if you like techno, trance with live drums like the Ministry of Sound does. And, They don't use "mahal"!

Nerd or not im happily drinking my beer at home right now. Used to go out a lot and drink 12 bottles of san mig light a night with my fiancee but now that he went back to Oz, i just dont see the point in going out. Im just a little lovesick is all :( hope my visa will be approved so i can start living my life again
If living life is going out and drinking 12 bottles of beer a night, I'm afraid that will cost just a tad more in Oz! Larry
Will definitely cost a tad more but its not really about the beer, its about how you enjoy the company. Cant wait to try Guiness beer though, looked at Bacolod and Cebu but cant find it anywhere. I cant wait to try it in Oz
