I had the Tex Mex lasagna at Y not. It was delicious and must have been over a foot long, it was huge! Also came with the salad bar for P260, I guess I was hungry I ate the whole thing.

    KRI - A restaurant

KRI is a restaurant located across from Siliman College. West of the Siliman Portal building on the opposite side of the Street. It is known for small portions, and being somewhat expense. I like the food, finding it someone what refined, but not all people do. There are many other posts on KRI here on the thread.

American Menu - Burger - at Casablanca
CB is having an American Menu this week. I tried their North Carolina Burger, terrific! Must have been almost a half pounder with cheese, bacon, sautéd onions, etc. I couldn't finish it but have to say it was the best burger I've had since leaving Calif in '07.

    Huge, messy, super yummy.,,

this one (Mexican - price 195 Php) is half of the size PatO ordered.
Certainly prefer that over some thumbnail sized burger with stinky oil sprinkled on it with a"fancy" presentation for the same price or more.

Cool, but I wish they had a good sesame seed bun available here.

View attachment 8928 Today we found a recently opened pizzeria in Valencia Jawa, just outside the towncentre of Valencia. The owner is original from Paris and they serve real value for money.

Can you give some directions? I'm not familiar with where Jawa is. Towards Dumaguete, Bacong, Baluga or Forest camp?

Go past the Valencia municipality building and take a right turn at the crossing, go past the policestation and gym to the top of the road and go right at the T crossing after that it is the first turn to the left. The pizzeria is 30mtrs on your left side.

For lack of anything else, we went there and had the "Oliver's Favorite" this evening. Was not bad by local standards, and terrific by Valencia standards. The crust was crisp and tender, not too thick or too thin, ingredients of better than average local quality. As is typical of Pizzas here, very little to no tomato base. Beer was cold at P28. Service was friendly.

All in all, a pretty good experience. We will be going back.
