"There" meaning Bo's? I'll be downtown Saturday-but busy until aprx 1pm. I won't have my bike with me. I could bring it later though. Or just meet you there at 1pm
The COMPLETE exhaust/muffler system was 4500 Pesos in Tanjay. Normally slip on exhausts for any bike in the Pro Circuit brand are around the $200-$300 mark in Australia with the header pipe an extra $250+ again! So 4500 Pesos which works around $100AUD was a bargain for me.
Kind of an old post but did you re jet the carb after changing the exhaust? Where in Tanjay do they sell these parts? Thanks.
I have seen that muffler and it's not to my liking, it blows out the gases straight into peoples faces riding behind, not very good on the road in heavy traffic, maybe good for competition/racing, I would at least add a piece to the back to guide the gases downward. You will not find other jets, other than the standard size 102, so you have to get them abroad, not easy either...
Most mufflers blow backwards don't they? There are larger main jets available at a couple locations in Dgte.

If you have ridden behind some of the bikes here with aftermarket exhausts, you would feel the popping air in your face as they accelerate in front of you. Very annoying. The better exhausts have a deflector or diffuser at the end to elliminate blasting your fellow riders with high pressure exhaust gasses. Care to share this information? Went to Du Ek Sam and they don't even stock a spark plug for an XR. O-|
I have bought jets at new lucky terminal and the shop on real street near the south end. Take a sample with you, they do not differentiate by application. Larry
I have larger Keihin main jets from US. Its hard for me to post here. Suddenly always getting error message etc. No trouble on other forums
