As I already wrote, it is difficult or outright impossible to find bigger jets for the XLR/XR carburator, I had a friend of mine searching for them in the US and he came back with only one size, 105, no other available, maybe he did not know how to look for them, I checked out this site and had the impression that they have the right ones, have a look for yourself : Carburetor Parts Warehouse

I don't know why you find it so difficult. Type Keihin jets into a Yahoo search, and the third result is pjmotorsports.com in the USA - which is where I bought my larger main jets.

Roberts Auto Parts has universal jets that go above 100 for something like p95ea and will screw right in, but who knows how whoever makes them numbers their orifices?

    I have a 108, 110, and 112 left that I paid pj $6.99ea for.

I went way above 105 on mine after removing the screens from the inboard of the air filter. A 118 I think.

I sold someone in Manila a 115, and he loved the power boost..

I am running a 107.5 and that's already on the fat side for my setup, I didn't remove the screen, only modified the Airfilter, makes a 120km/h on a good day, sitting upright, not laying down...

It's a while ago that I opened this Thread but now I have some news...

The other Day I had a visit by some guys with XR200's, both were complaining about the pulling power of their bikes when accelerating hard, one of them told me that he had just bought a new, modified, header-pipe and a new, open, Muffler, he was boasting that his bike only consumes 2.8 liters/100km, question, what is wrong here?
The other guy was telling me that his bike is stock setup and that his bike consumes 3.5 liter/100km, they both are very BIG guys, both had the original 13 front and 42 rear sprockets.

If the first guy changes his too lean jetting from the original main jet 102, to a 105 or 108, he should see quite an improvement in performance , if he does fail to change, he will probably have over heating problems or might even burn a hole into the piston or burn a valve...

The second guy and the first guy could get an even better improvement by changing their gear ratio,
go for 46 rear and you will like the way it fits the bike so much better than the stock ratio...

The parts you need are not all locally available but you can get everything, but the 13 front sprocket,
in the US, it's much smarter to have them send in a Balikbayan Box than to hunt them down locally and maybe buying a fake product...

If you order the jets, you need “PD” “Keihin” jets...

I have a 2010 that is stock. I find that just by keeping the chain correctly tensioned and oiled it has much less rolling resistance. Also, the front wheel axle should not be overtightened as that produces a lot of drag too. With 200cc's every little bit helps. I usually get 35 to 38 kpl. mostly riding 2 up between Valencia and Dumaguete.

Taking good care of your chain is basic maintenance but what you write about the front axle is not a problem I have encountered yet, I have had many XLR/XR200 in my shop but when you have a lot of "drag" then more likely your Break Caliper is not free moving on it's guiding studs, you need to remove the wheel and the Break Pads, than you should be able to slide the Caliper off of it's studs, if you have problems doing so, than that's your problem that makes the brake "drag"...
