Health & Wellness Travel Doctor

Hi one and all


I’m looking for a doctor who maybe a bit more knowledgeable in regards travel vaccination etc.
Any recommendations for Doctor with experience in this field?

 

You might want to start at the City Health Office next to the Dgte fire station but I don't know if I would actually trust the advise of the staff. However, they may be able to recommend a specialist. Another option may be to talk to one of the better travel agencies, like Maganda Travel. They may be able to help but I doubt that there is an actual Travel Clinic in town. I rely on the information from reliable WEB sources like the US CDC: Vaccinations - Travelers' Health - CDC . If you go to this page, it will give you the normal vaccinations you should have, then click on list of destinations to find the requirement for a particular country. If you traveled here from another country, you probably already have an Immunization Record Book, listing the ones you have had already and their expiry dates?

 

This is a good web site for vaccinations for Asia countries. Travel medicine - Asia. For me, I always make sure, at a minimum, my Tetanus and Hepatitis A & B are up to date when in any of the ASEAN countries. You can probably get injections at any of the clinics or hospitals here. And you may want to consider bringing condoms, just in case....
