13 months ago I bought my wife a motorbike at Du Ek Sam Honda, still have not received the plate or tags and not have to pay the registration. She doesn't drive it to town so never been stopped. Du Ek Sam told me they ordered the plate and sticker from Bias and it takes longer (no sh*t); I bought a bike at the Yamaha dealer in March and received both the plate and sticker within 3 months. Now D-E-S are saying no plates available the rest of the year. More fun....

I had the same b...sh.t story with Du ek Sam, I finally got my plate after 2 years and wasted my temper! Yamaha and Susuki are on time less than 3 months, and no funny alibi!

A funny thing happened on the way to purchase a Motorcycle

I really liked the Honda products and many locations for service, but when I went into Du Ek Sam Honda they would ignore me. After going in many times I finally got a salesperson to start answering some of my questions. Then something funny to me happened, the staff started migrating to the rear of the store, the lights went out as my sales person walked away without saying a thing..... lunch time. I was somewhat new here but it still seemed odd that there was not even a word said about it.. just a walk away. Maybe that is why I am riding a Yamaha Ybr, that fits me a little better than the Honda products. I did get my plates and tags, and registrations... too.

Welcome to a common problem with Du Ek Sam, I bought my bike in 1999 from them and they told me that I can pick up the plates at their shop in a month, after four or five times asking about the plates I was told that I should try myself to get them at LTO Bais, drove there four times only to be told that they have no plates available, "just come back next week, Sir". Since 13 years I am driving with temporary plates and nobody cares a s...

Simply amazing. Not sure how the payment works, not accusing but one has to wonder if DES keeps the fees we pay and "floats" the money until they have to pay the LTO for the plates. So no problem, I just have to wait another 12 yrs to get our plate.

Perhaps D.E.S. don't want to play the LTO "game"that's why D.E.S. refers to LTO Bais.
And maybe, just maybe, LTO Bais is now playing the same "game" as in Dumaguete.

I'm more a Yamaha fan, though nothing wrong with a Honda (off topic). But as soon as I see the abbreviation LTO I spontaneously start to vomit and more. Can write a complete horror story about that organization, but nevertheless when your read their commitments posted in the hall of their office behind the capital is very hard to believe. Most likely it has been written after many bottles of Tanduay being in good mood though no idea what's been put on paper.

After coming back for almost 13years in this home country (being an OFW) i finally agreed what my father said, that we Filipinos are lost!!! And disaster!!!

Each time i'm going to the public or private offices i saw all the flaws, i went to LTO for my driver- driver's license and i hated how the girls replied me, i feel like i need to point a gun to get a right answer.

I went to municipal offices as well and i saw ladies employee re touching their make up in front of me. I feel terrified! By then, i hired a liaison to process my papers instead, just to avoid seeing those ugly behavior.

In Du Ek Sam, the salesperson their are day dreaming, or maybe they're scared of foreigners. My husband went and shake the crowd..i meant he screamed on his complaint because he was tired of their never ending reason.O--O

This country is lost and i am also lost because of the others. But, why i'm here, simply because i see people smile even if they have nothing, the kids are pure, and i can afford a good standard of living here. But, Hey! There's also GOOD things in this country, if you found a right woman-they are your greatest treasure!

Bought my wife a Yamaha Fino from Norkis, had to wait over 18 months for the plate which arrived with a out of date sticker on it.
Norkis blamed the LTO & the LTO blamed Norkis, What are you gonna do !....

I was to LTO Dumaguete two years ago to renew my license (old place, before Robinson branch). Everything flowed nicely. Got the forms. Check. Got the drug test done. Check. Picture taken. Check.

"Well, how long have you been offline then?"
