I guess the philosophy of the founding fathers of the U.S is just outdated. I personally believe that following and relaying on the words and visions which are a few hundred years old is just a notch short of following Jehovah witnesses and pretty much blindfolded, very obvious in many aspects that this stuff does not work anymore, not only when it comes to guns.

However, my thoughts are always with the relatives of the victims, in this case now, like they were last year in Norway where that crazy guy killed the kids on the Island.

 

Priority NO ONE is my children have to be safe specialy at school no doubt about that, they are the inocent ones and killing of children in the age of 5 or 6 years old in unacceptable.
If you cannot protect children you cannot protect the futsure of your country.
I dont need a lot of axamples like you to defent the gun laws in US

That is my point exactly....the "crazy guy". Guns aren't the problem, it's always the crazy guy. As I stated before and no one likes to comment about it, "opponents of guns always point out the negative aspects, as does the liberal U.S. media, but they rarely if ever point out how many robberies, murders, rapes, assaults, and what have you were prevented because the victim avoided the crime because they defended themselves with a gun!

Violent crime statistics in the U.S. have been steadily declining for the last 20 or so years with 2011 the one exception, undoubtedly because of the poor economy and more people turning to criminal behavior to survive.

How many of you would feel safe going to a bank here in the Philippines that didn't have armed guards with guns? Do you really think if guns were outlawed that criminals would obey the law and not have guns? If you really think that, you are delusional."

Not to detract from the "accurate" numbers posted above, but how can you have homicide AND death in the same statistic? "... 44 Homicides and 55 Deaths...." I though homicide was a form of death, such as death by homicide? If the additional deaths weren't caused by homicide what were they caused by?? Hmmm....

The U.S. Constitution is not outdated, not in the least. The problem is with people who would like to change it. Along with freedoms come responsibilities. Americans would much rather deal with their responsibilities on their own than have them shoved down their throats like some other countries do it. Americans are not Europeans and never will be. That is why they left Europe and immigrated to the U.S. by the millions because they wanted a better life.

The U.S. isn't perfect by far, but somehow has managed to be the leader in the world for how many years now? :D Or would you rather have communist China be the leader? Some country has to be the leader as the EU and the United Nations can't handle it!

People who want more gun laws and more gun control are missing the point. There is a greater good to be had by allowing guns than by not allowing them, especially in the U.S. If you haven't lived there, you won't "get it".
