Masa is treated with lime, just use calamunce. To do it right the corn is soaked in lime and dried before being ground. Then they dry it again and grind it once more to make it a fine corn flour. It would be much easier if you could buy the masa it rather than making it.

You can doit! Look on you tube or look up how to make flour totillas there are several vids. I agree the people here know what true mexican food is. Nothing compares with home made or East L. A. Mexican food. Ohhhh yeaaaaaaa!
