Been researching about boats to Apo Island, and all of them are around P1,500+ for 5-6 pax. Is there a cheaper alternative? I'm traveling with one other person, so it's out of our budget to rent a boat to ourselves. Is there a ferry we can take to Apo Island, like the ferry to Siquijor? If so, how much do those cost per head?

    Thanks!

If you show up in Malatapay and take the "public" boat to Apo Island you save some peso. It can't be called ferry and you share it with many people. I can't recommend that for many reasons, but it is certainly a bit cheaper.

Thanks, Rhoody! Would you happen to know how much that would cost per head? Trying to put together an estimated budget for our Manila-Dumaguete-Siquijor-Apo Island excursion on January.

I have this issue as well, If someone can provide how much is the per head fare for boat ride to Apo island it would be great. Also 2000-3000 pesos per day do already includes island hopping around Apo island? thanks.
