How long with the enforcement last? How long with the enforcement last? Will it last as long as the ban on trikes between Dumaguete and Bacong lasted? If so, maybe I will just not ride around the first morning of enforcement.
...or the smoke ban,no more red-shirt-enforcers in the street, result? ...or the plastic bag ban, already long forgotten. ...what will be the next? Discipline?
My estimate, better extend your non riding around for more than the first morning. Road checks to stop driver's without an helmet (specially foreigners) is a very easy way to get a lot of tea money. After all 1.500 peso is far more than the average daily salary of an LTO officer I think.
Considering Tues ( Jan 1st) is declared,a non Working holiday, I wonder how may enforcers will be on Duty
If this is the 1.000.000,00 USD question, my answer: negative, zero, nada. Will give you my bank account # by private mail in case I'm the winner.
:D well, I have told my lot to wear one anyway, we will only know for sure, Tuesday morning. Beware enforcers with a hang over. Ramos has some Balls, so I wouldn't trust what he says. he may be putting in, a Red herring. JP
Shadows "hairstyle" looks like a full-face helmet anyway, a ICC sticker for 12 php on the forehead and he is fine ;-)
From our experience at the DTI getting a sticker the other day, all they checked was the brand name. That being said all I would likely have to do is put an "Index" sticker on my forehead and a DTI sticker would be issued. Larry
The Filipinos are going to do what they always do. sit 200 miters away from the checkpoint until they move then carry on with their business.
