2 Mcdonald's but only 1 Jollibee?

somebody claimed that this was the case in Dumaguete, I was just there for 10 days and driving around, I only noticed one of each, not that I bothered to go and eat in either.

 

I count four Jollibees in Dumaguete, the main one by Lee plaza, the one by BPI, the one on north road, and the one in the mall. There are two Mcdos about 3 blocks from each other, both on Perdices.

 

No wonder I missed you guys , I went to the wrong McDonalds ! O-|

Hey Larry, I haven't been there for over a Year now, where's McDonalds Part 2 located on Perdices?

 

The old Cangs building is now a brand new state of the art McDo (same sh*t, different place)!

 

Ahh Ha, The Old Cangs Building I see... The same place I bought My First Barong Tagalog from back in 2004 that I wore for My Wedding.. The only one that fit Me was the one the Manequin Dummy was wearing there on the Top floor of Cangs, so I stole it right off Him.. Thanks again for the update Larry...

 

One might think that some investor would've opened a Burger King (or Subway, or Popeye's, or...) instead of a second Mickey Dee's. We Duma-guttys should demand some VARIETY in our junk-food-suicide regimens!

 

Rumor has it, with some certainty, that Unitop will be out of business in a year. Burger King will be moving in. (not sure if Unitop employees are aware of the impending change)

Teves family owns the building, maybe the Unitop lease expired or was just "voided" as happens with leases here?


Also five 7/11 stores are supposed to be on their way to Dumaguete.

There is rarely any unique thought here business-wise. It's more about finding what works and copying it!
