Certainly is, there are plenty more where he comes from, But he was even disowned by his family & stripped of Saudi Nationality. That is very unusual for the saudi's to do that.
But like London buse's there will be a couple more along shortly Unfortunally...

Yeah, very conflicting stuff. Maybe only some of the Saudis are funding terrorists and not the Government, ? Or is the Government covering up ? I am sure the Mosaad would know ? And maybe are not telling the CIA and MI6............ ?

Saudi Is like most of the middle east an absoulte Monarchy. what the King says is instantly law. the saudi' govt claim not to finance terroism, But there seem to be a lot of very well funded saudi terrs around, most of the 9-11 were of Saudi origin.
as far as the saudi govt go's most of the advisors are off course Prince's & they deal with the day to day running of the various govt depts, So we keep it all in the Family !.
& they are quite ruthless about keeping it that way, Lot of decent in the country wich is purseued with vigour, Some times with a one way trip out to the empty quarter { Desert area } in a C130 via the ramp at 10,000ft, Or so legend has it !.What can I say its an interesting but very stange place, Struggling still to drag its self into the 21st century, They have fabuolus wealth of course, but It dosent take much to reveal a 3rd world mind set, Plus the religon thing that is used to keep the populas in line, & of course the incursion of the outside world via travel & satalite TV doesnt help the ruling classes, Now we see the terr problem being exported from there to the outside world...

No doubt Saudi money is still flowing freely to terrorists groups...where there is a will there is a way - and if the Saudi government isn't doing it, wealthy 'private' individuals would be. Because 'god' wants them to. Actually most of the government advisors, unless it's changed in recent years have been from outside the royal family....but trusted Najd families for the most part...plus the ulema - although they are less influential than they used to be. The princelings make up a lot of the government - ministers, governors, military officers, security heads, professional leeches, etc...but the main advisors are generally non-royals.
Spent ten years there myself...Jeddah, old Jeddah near the main souk at first, then Shorbatly, and the rest (6 years) at Saudia City.
