ordering computer parts wait

Went to Ace Logic not too far from Lee's Plaza to get a computer cable. Turns out this is a special cable and they need to order it. Asked what the delivery time would be, answer was 2-3 days. Then they are asking on order form for a deposit and sign a statement that deposit in non-refundable. So I can imagine the scenario where they take my deposit and then I have to wait months to get the cable.

My question is 3 fold. One is, has anyone ordered from this outfit and what was their delivery time, did they keep their word? Two is, which outlet here has widest selection of computer cables? Three is, does anyone out there have alot of old video computer cables that might have this one, please message me if you might. Cable cost by order is somewhere around 200php, so this is an inexpensive item.

Be a bit more specific which kind of video cable your looking for. I have various spare computer cables including video/monitor cables of various sorts.

 

The computer/electronics store upstairs in Robinson's Mall, by the food court, stocks a lot of different cables.

Hi, Ace Logic has the worst customer service and they usually fail on their promise date of delivery. Once I have my printer fix due to paper jam, then after they repaired it, it became worst it won't print anymore, they totally destroyed my printer, i just threw the unit in the garbage can, but i sued them thru DTI (Department of Trade ang Industry).

 

Curious how you "sued them through DTI." I thought lawsuits are handled by the Courts. There is a small claims court I know here, but I have not used it yet.

 

I just had a new Motherboard ordered by them in Manila, item cost's 2950Php, I payed 1000Php down and the item was at their store ready for pick up 3 days later, I would suggest to deal with "Dino" Uy who operates Ace Logic, he seats at his desk on the right side of the store most of the time...

Already ordered it from comp. shop after they guaranteed delivery within 2 weeks or money back.

But if you have other parts, a laptop or *cheap* monitor, let me know. Laptop has to be p4 or above in good working order. thanks for your reply.
