How many filipinos does it take to change a lightbulb? None. Because none of them will admit the lightbulb is burnt out! OK yesterday I go to a hardware store. I need a ballast for my kitchen light. there probably 20 employees standing around talking to each other basically ignoring the customers. so I go and find the ballast display my self. Problem is, is I have arthritis and its hard to get down on my knees and back up again. so I go track someone down and ask for help. I have a picture of the ballast on my cell, make and model. Now they only have one and its not the right size. They do have many others they're just a different brand. I get the usual "were out of stock." Now Im not a electrician but I think if you get one thats the same voltage and wattage and size it will still work no matter the brand. They must have at least 100 ballast on the bottom shelf. I repeat, do you have one that 240v 22 watts? He calls over a another employee and shows her the pic on my cell and she also says "out of stock" I say what about all these down here? No sir not same. I said You're not even gong to get down there and look for one are you? I get the 1000 yard stare. No sir. I say thank you very much for your help and turn and add or the lack of it there of. Some times I just get real tired of it and want to throw in the towel. Id go and talk to a manager but from past experience I learned Id get the same attitude. OK Im off to Citi hardware to see if they can help. Have a great day...and remember Its more fun in the Philippines.
Yup, and when you do help yourself, they look at you funny for asking for a discount as you did all the work and all the thinking.
haha me too hahaha happend me too, going to buy tshirt size m out of stock sire , how about xl ?? whhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaa
And then the double whammy is that a medium is not a medium and an XL is not an XL! I do rather enjoy the female sales clerks attempting to model the various sizes for me though.
