Well, he wanted 3% to notarize a deed of sale on a P200,000 auto (P6000), got it done downtown for P200.

    Your mileage may vary.

    price very reasonable

I am a filipina married to a foreigner and we hired Atty. Miguel to process our land tittle and his professional fee is fair and he does his job well without any delays on his part. In our experience he has always been honest and never over charges. I suppose it is just a case to case basis but if you think he is charging you too much you can always ask for a discount especially if you are a regular client.

Divephil: please take notice to how many posts the two responders here have. One seems like an advertisement for the guy (and says two things I would never accuse a lawyer of, that's being honest and never over charging), the other sounds more like a actual encounter.

... and here they pop up again out of the middle of nowhere a month after thread-start, praising businesses with one liners, but never had anything else to contribute to the community ...

better build your opinion on Shadows post, he is a well trusted member here since years.

Of course I also would NEVER say 6000 Peso for a deed of sale is expensive. I just would not pay it.

being a member here for years does not make a person trustworthy nor does it say otherwise. we all have our opinions and it is up to the reader to decide otherwise but the best way to decide who to get as their lawyer would be to see the said lawyer for themselves, i don't think it is wise to base your decisions solely on who says who and who says what here. One liner or not does not make our opinions any less valuable than those who have been a member here for years, i'd like to think it is of equal value. He has been our attorney for a few years now and recommended by five of our foreigner friends before we hired him.

You are absolutely correct, and GASS seems to usually make doubtful comments about most things as I have been reading.

New, old, makes absolutely no difference, sometimes the only difference is the old have spread more rubbish than the new.............. lol ...................

sorry Madam you are about 110% wrong.

Shadow helped many members and non members with his information here for free. No matter if in Visa or other issues. That certainly makes him more trustworthy than a sudden wave of new recommendations of people never seen before.

I don't doubt any qualification of anybody. I only say the sudden appearance of strangers smells like canned meat food made by the Hormel Foods Corporation.

It certainly does not do the honorable attorney any favour.
