Good to see Obama visit Israel and Palestine in person, well done.

Listening to him chatting about both visits, seems like he is playing a good referee, lets hope his visit will be the start of building peace between the two Countries.

When or if that happens, the MI may start to settle down a bit more.?

Would be good if he did the same thing with Korea, but that is wishing for too much maybe ?

US soon energy exporter thanks to shale oil and will loose interest in ME. Israel will stand alone with no friends and only enemies around. I mean, the problem will be solved by facts on ground:cool:

You could'nt have said it any better Wrye.. I'vealso heard that OBroma has less than a 10% approval rating in Israel, so I think they'll do whatever it takes to protect Their Country and it's Citizens....I'd hate to be in Their shoes, not a very ideal location where They live....cheers

True, but they stir just as much as sh*t as Israel does. You can't pick a side in the bullshit they have going on there. Both parties are equally to blame in the violence there. Been going on for a long time, will continue to go on for a lot longer. Neither will negotiate.

Israel does plenty wrong as well. If a country was moving in further and further on my land establishing illegal communities I would be throwing mortars and rockets on them as well. Israel is no saint. Palestine does equally wrong. Both parties act like children. Both parties deserve the death and destruction they are receiving. I don't think the US has any obligation to support either side. Israel is only an ally because of the weapons we provide them and for minor religious and financial purposes. The US could just take over an area in the middle east (such as Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Turkey or Syria) create a base and have the same thing. Would cost the US much less to maintain.
