Haha that’s because in Australia we have strict gun laws, if it were say in the US the young fella would have gone and got his grandpa’s unlocked and loaded fire arm that stands behind the kitchen door and done the job properly and not tried to use a car.

Of course, one round is cheaper than a tank full of gas.................or damage to the grill.............all in perspective.......:D

Why just one round? A box of 50 .45 cal hollow points is less than $50. If you're going to kill someone at least do it right. Shot gun shells are even cheaper, but they are a bit bulky and hard to conceal.

Chris Rock has a very funny approach to gun laws. He says to give guns away free but make bullets $1000 each. If someone gets shot you d*mn well know the person deserved it. I'm sure you can find it on YouTube. Funny skit.

I kind of like that $1000 a round idea!!! Its getting almost that expensive to by .45,s now. I just got off a site that was selling Bersa .380.s for $319.00 they are just as good as the old Walther PPK, and half the price.

About 4 years ago I bought 100 rounds of .45 for less than $100 at walmart. I have no idea what they would cost now. But in those 4 years I still have 100 left. I suspect in the next 4 years I will still, and hope, I have 100 left. Last year my brother in law wanted to shoot at the range with my 45 until I told him he had to buy his own rounds, so I suspect they are pretty pricy now.

I check a lot of gunstores and ammo is in short supply, and you cant always get what u want. I was looking on one of my favorite sites and the 1911, that i was going to buy is out of stock. It is made in the Phils BTW, in Manila.

I imagine it has to do with talks on gun control. It will calm down once they realize their guns aren't being taken away.

Yes, it will calm down but the far left still wants to take away guns. When they are cornered on the discussions they will finally admit thats what they are working up to. The plan has always been to do it piece at a time. Oh, well , not in my lifetime. My kids may have to deal with that issue, but my youngest daughter is a ex decorated Staff Sgt. US Army. and she may not agree with the lefties.

I'm sure it won't be in my lifetime either. The large majority of Americans do not want guns taken away. It would be political suicide for most politicians to support such a proposition. A few politicians in nanny lib districts can pull off supporting such a measure but the large majority would be heading to the unemployment office. Cultures just don't change over a course of a couple years either. Takes generations. So outsiders can complain, just as I do about certain aspects of filipino culture, but you should know that your complaints go largely unheard and won't make a bit of difference.....just as my complaints here do.
