I picked up one that runs my fridge, fans, TV and aircon or water heater (not the aircon and heater at same time though) for 12k. It'll run for 8-15 hours depending on the load.

Its a Chinese rip off but it works well. One of the best buys I've made.

    NegOr braces for brownouts
    BY JUDY F. PARTLOW
    Visayan Daily Star

Many towns and cities in Negros Oriental being serviced by NORECO I and NORECO II, will experience several hours of brownouts on Saturday and next weekend because of maintenance activities of the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines.

The NGCP said the shutdown of some of its transmission facilities will end after work completion.

Cities and municipalities to be affected are determined by the distribution utilities, unless the activity affects the entire franchise area.

The shutdown on Saturday will be from 8 a.m. to 5 a.m. in parts of the NORECO II franchise area and along the Amlan-Siaton 69kV transmission line, NGCP's Elmer Cruz, Corporate Communications chief for the Visayas, said.

On April 13, another brownout is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with parts of the NORECO I and NORECO II franchise area to be affected by maintenance activity along the Amlan-Guihulngan 69kV transmission line.

Another schedule is on April 14, also from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., in parts of the NORECO I and NORECO II franchise areas also due to maintenance activity.

NGCP's customers and the general public are advised to take the necessary preparations and precautions.

Earlier, the NGCP said in a statement sent to the Diocesan Electoral Board of the Diocese of Dumaguete, that it was undertaking preventative maintenance activities to ensure a stable and uninterrupted power supply during the May 13 elections. *JFP

I think it says "Yamihosha" or something like that. Absolutely no trace of the company on the Internet. It's a 3500 series. It's is yellow, pull start. It was 12k or 14k. I remember he gave me a discount for paying cash........even though they only accept cash. Maybe they accepted installations as well, I didn't question it.

Just a small locally owned generator/hardware store, can't recall the name. Believe it was a green sign though.

If you start at Robinsons drive towards the cockpit. Continue on the road until you hit the bridge going over the river. It is on the first block after bridge on the right hand side. It's before the corner of Perdices St. And Luke Wright St.

Or you can go to Matiao hardware and get the same generator with a Honda sticker for 25k. The Honda is red though.
