Yea. I'm from Flagstaff. In China now, but looking to permanently stay in The Philippines. Do you know if I should go for my Permanent residency visa or retirement visa?
HI, It makes a difference if you are married to a Pinay. Beyond that i dont know, there are people on the site who will know a lot more than i do about that. You can get some good information here. For myself, i am in Phoenix right now but i am re-thinking my options. There are countries in South and central America that make it most appealing for US citizens to live there. Panama for one . The Phils just doesnt get it about promoting migration to the country. Westerners, esp, US, Australian, and Europeans could be cash cows for this poor benighted place but the government makes it hard.
Panama might be difficult for Cactus-Jack, as the name Panama-Jack is already taken. Just another good reason to live in the Philippines.
Ha!! i like that. Thank goodness TOMCAT was not taken, although my two tomcats (Jessy and Frank) the outlaws might object.
I'm not married (to a filipina or otherwise). Does this make things more difficult? All the Best, angelfire
