This has been an ongoing problem for me for quite some time now. One moment I can access the forum and post on threads. The next I can only view the forum but get booted when I try to post (first I get the redirect popup warning saying I will lose all data if I continue then when I click ok I get the website down screen). Then the forum won't work at all, denying all access. Once I turn on my VPN (changing my IP) I can view and post again. This only happens while I'm at home and while using my Internet. If I access the forum via mobile Internet or from another wifi point I have no issues. I know it has something to do with my IP address at home, but why does it only block it sometimes and allow me to post at a different time? Can this be fixed? Switching on my VPN everytime i come here gets old after awhile. Have to turn it off as browsing is a bit slower with it on and I get errors with Google while it is on. This post was made using my VPN. (Arizona IP if I'm not mistaken. My post on the President Pnoy thread was from my home IP address.)
Globe is my home Internet access. Smart is my mobile Internet. I know globe is the provider for the black pearl and why not (my two other main wifi connections). I don't have any problem with other sites when I am having problems here. Everything works fine except the forum.
Globe is likely the problem. I have had instances while using Globe just like you have mentioned, but never while using Smart. Globes system likes to erratically block access to some websites for whatever reason. You can call them and add a website, which doesn't make sense, but it seems to help.
Strange......and that sucks. But I'm curious why it only happens at my house and not while I'm in town.
Different Globe antenna at different locations? Who knows. Maybe the stars don't align well at each location? Globe service really is a toss up. Logic and Globe don't necessarily mix!
