i know theres been many many posts regarding immigration so ill keep it brief. Immigration run around here is ridiculous as im sure you all know.. I read somewhere if you put a deposit down or investment of a certain high dollar amount you can be granted a residency card and not have to jump through the constant renewal process,.. is this true? I'm so tired of going to the tiny office and paying thousands for a small renewal.. anyone have a work around? I have a child with a citizen, but the child was born in the U.S., we are applying for dual citizenship for her but this girl i mention we are not married... ideas please............

Maybe this is a ssrv investment visa from the pra! There is an office in Cebu or Manila. I think you need to invest $20-25000 depending on age.

I thought the investment visa was 50k USD. Retirement visa is over 100k if your 35 years old and if 55 is 50k if I remember correctly.

I know you can bribe your way into a bulikbayan for about 13k pesos and that covers multiple entry for a year (I didn't believe it either but I was proven wrong). A couple years ago you could buy your way into a permanent resident visa for around 150k pesos, I've heard that has went up though.

If you are REALLY creative you could buy a citizenship. You would need to bribe your way through that on multiple levels. Would likely be extremely expensive. Closer to 500k pesos.

In all honestly there is no need to renew every two months (as long as your stay is under 1 year). If you go to immigration after 8 months of not paying it will only be 1k pesos more expensive.

Also if you employ 10 filipinos legally (meaning you pay the legal minimun wage and benefits) you can have a special visa. I forget the name of it but easily found on the immigration website. ESVB visa or something of the sort.

Marry her and get a permanent resident visa. It is a hell of a lot cheeper than the retirement visa. I have a permanent resident visa and I go down once a year and pay 3 or 4 hundred.

I'd rather bribe immigration than get married in this country. Marriage can be much more expensive than 200k for a visa.

Find a Filipino lady, threat her extremely well, be a first class gentleman and make her your very best friend.
After 2 to 3 years if you still are very best friends...suggest that a marriage will be good for both.
If you get married to her after that long time you will have a friend and a good wife for the rest of your life.
Be generous and make her happy every moment. Do not use her in any way especially sexually if you don't both agree.
A real man who loves his woman respect all she does. Get rid of your negatives and insecurity and your toughts about women. Before you can get happy with a loved one you must be happy within yourself. it seems to me reading many of your posts that either you are a very stingy man or maybe a poor man or could't it be that you are unsuccesful with the good women. The bullshit you are posting on this thread is below what a classy man says to or about anyone else. Honestly, you seem to be a very unsatisfied person and in general negative.
Well, that is my 2 cents work....we are now at Alona beach Bohol and we are celebrating our wedding 5th anniversy, and 8 years of deep friendship and mutual understanding and respect. By the way I have now been an IMMIGRANT in the PhilippineS for 3 years. Be succesful with women and get in to the WINNERS CIRCLE!
Please no more of your disrespectful and degrading of Filipino women.

The best way to do it hire someone to handle all your renewals . Drop your passport with a agency and they will let you know when they need money .

    Stay on a tourist visa

really its cheap at 2 bucks a day Vs 20 K plus to invest

Letting your Visa expire and hoping its a cheap fast fix later can bite you in the @ss , never let your Visa expire in any country

As for bribing someone bad advice

after I did the whole perm resident visa myself... if I had to do it over I would hire a BI accreted person to do the visa for me.... with all the plane tickets to manila and the hotel room etc... I think it would cost less and be much less stress...
