My wife told me that in Valencia you get an amount of electricity and if you dont use it all you will get reimbursed ? Is this how it works and if so: 1. How much electricity are we talking about ? 2. How come that Valencia has this deal, i mean why is this area subsidized ? 3. Is there any other place that has a similar deal or is this unique ? Any other info is welcome since im a curious person and if me and my wife ever gonna get a place in Phil it will likely be in Valencia. Thanks !
It is true; if you live in Valencia, you can get an electrical rebate. You bring your paid receipt to the Municipal Hall with the Tax Clearance for your property and Community Tax Certificate and they will reimburse up to Php 800 per month. Valencia residents get this deal because PNOC (the geothermal electrical plant) is located on the Municipal territory.
