Hey, I love to do swimming so I wanted to check out the aqua center a week ago or so... but they told me that the aqua center is closed for the public due to some sports event :( ... Does anybody know when they will open again? Is there any alternative to the aqua center for swimming lines? Thanks, Stefan
the security guard there told me it is closed for the whole of april and I dont know of any other public pool here
The pool is closed due to a huge interscholastic sporting event called Palarong Pambansa (National Games). The competition is going on in the Dumaguete area for the first time, April 21 - 27 (info : What you need to know about the Palarong Pambansa)! I don't know when the pool will re-open to the public though.
Ok thanks everyone for the information... d*mn I hope they open again just after the Palarong Pambansa has ended.
I also love to swim because it is a very good exercise but due to closing swimming pools, my routine is totally disturbed. One of my friend has an above ground swimming pool at his backyard and every weekend we go there for swimming.
The aqua center is already open again since may 2... but they had some strange shortenings of the opening times due to some swimming courses. But from 18. may onward its back to usual that means you can go there till 6PM yay! :-) But ingat po, last time they tried to throw me out because my swimming pants were "too short" oops?! :-D...
