Hi, i would like to know what is the average rent for a 50sqm, commercial building in town (good location) thanks
We currently have been looking at renting office space (good location). Seems anywhere near downtown is going for P1000/month per sq mtr and UP. Larry
:dnr: are they drunk or smoking some sh*t they aren't sharing? 50k for 50sqm? What business could possibly justify such a cost in this country? No wonder they are corrupt here and businesses seem to change names/location monthly. Have to take what you can just to make rent. I'm looking for some office space as well but they can kiss my @ss if they expect me to pay anything more than 8k-10k for a small office. I was thinking more along the lines of 5k actually.
A quick search online shows that office/retail space in the US is going for 60cents-3USD / square foot in any given city. Times 3 for meters and with exchange rate that is roundabout 90-400 pesos a square meter. Insane prices here.
If all you need is an office and you don't need public visibility you can find rentals in that price range. It's location that drives the price. In the Locsin building across from Matiao they are renting out stalls, cost is P1500 per sq meter. Location is terrific but the cost is just a bit prohibitive... Larry
We paid 13,000p for a ~30sqm office space on the boulevard. Second floor above Bo's Coffee. Nice and fresh unit. We left it last month, so it might be available. Just talk to the guard at the door on the corner.
