Can one renew his U S Passport in Cebu...I thought I read here..... you can walk in and out there.... at the Consulate within 1 hour or so...????????????????...... But my friend said you have to download a application form ... fill it out... send it to Manila or Cebu .. along with letter saying your representative can pick it up for you .....It goes back to the U S and they send it back with the old one also......................................... Via Air 21 ...Takes about 2 weeks or so.................................If that is the case I quess you couldn't get one in Manila that fast either....
You can apply in Cebu Mon-Fri 9-11 (except holidays), the process will take an hour or two. They will send the application to Manila, where it will be forwarded to the US for processing. It will arrive back in Cebu in a few weeks. You can pay to have the consulate send it to you when they get it. Larry
