@shadow: he did some stupid stuffs before he got into the special forces. So really, I have no clue of how the special forces work over there. This is what we've been told by him and his wife. My husband went to visit them when they were still living in the camp in America. He reckons its a tough life compared to how they have lived here.

Yeah, something about living in the USA and not getting free money from inlaws does make life tough...

Yeah, and I have met few guys in the special forces that go around talking about being in special forces. There was one here that was claiming to be the other night, started some sh*t, and then got knocked out by a 60kg Filipino security guard. He was special alright.

NS: I would say, if anything, the guy would have been only attached to an Sf Unit. You get the badge and ID without the special. The guy seems like a total disgrace to all real SF troops. Having a criminal record really hurts your chances of getting a Top Secret Clearance, which they must obtain to be SF. I haven't even met the guy and I think he's full of sh*t.

Actually once "I was SF" comes out of anyone's mouths here I immediately prepare myself to hear a total load of sh*t.

Best time of my life when I was in SF. I have never had it as good since..... Most every night we were out on special operations, and let me tell you one thing, we were all very tired if not exhausted after all our nightly operations. I still miss my time in SF, and all the good people who worked there...... SF will always be in my heart..... Thanks to Tony....Bennett that is......
I left my heart in San Francisco........ LOVE SF!

I wasn't saying everyone in special forces is the same but me and my husband think that by looking at him... We don't want to know what the special forces do him. I've met some that are really nice though in dumaguete nothing like him haha. Unfortunately my husband barred him from the family after he set him up in the business, gave him the connections then he made a lot of money now his a snutty nose running around telling people how good he is that he deserves everything his got and showing off his expensive cars and people just think his an absolute nutcase. You don't bite the hand that's feeds you.lol

I believe he is really in the special forces because we've seen his photos and the wife said the same thing and my husband visited them at the camp. But once he starts to open his mouth and start talking about what he used to do in there, we just don't wanna hear it.

Well whatever money he has made working in the special forces must have not been enough because they were really struggling and my husband's parents have to keep sending money just for them to survive. He has a kid with another woman and 2 kids from my husband's sister.

Lol this made me laugh. I don't mean to be offensive but there's just something in his eyes and the way he talks especially once he starts talking about his former job and wars... Its like a murderer's eyes ( no offense please but this is the best description I could find)? It's like he was scarred for good.

I certainly feel safer with the thought of a drunk trike-driver with a guns, than the thought of guns in hands of those mental f*ck-ups in Dumaguete and the Philippines who claim they have been "Special Forces" with all their pink, green and dotted berets.
