Looks like the DFA may be following through with their plan to open up an office at Robinson Place Dumaguete. On the 2nd fl close to Globe there is a large wall sign announcing DFA but of course no date posted.
Shouldn't this be in the humor section? I think I heard this one before. It also has something about a check being in the mail and a personal promise to a significant other?
yes they said it would be up and running by last januray , it was to be out side near LTO, It would be good if they do come here cheers
Actually they claimed it was already open in a national newspaper when they were trying to justify stopping all the travel agents from processing passports. Since all these new offices were up and running efficiently, there was no need for anyone to use a travel agent, meanwhile people are still lining up at 3 am to get a slot at Cebu DFA, and STILL having to come back the next day. Don't hold your breath, we have had the same rubbish announced in Bacolod Robinsons, for at least a year now. Still a no show of course....
There IS a DFA office in Bacolod (look for the address on their website - Google: DFA Bacolod) where my wife arranged for her passport a week ago. No hassle, and the passport will be LBC'ed to our home address. What more do you want? Vicmico
