My last movie at Robinsons Mall, there was a pinay woman texting madly in front and just to my right with a very bright touch screen up until mid movie, I leant forward and very politely and quietly said maam your cp is very distracting, I did not even get a head turn, so I was getting very annoyed I guess 30 minutes into the movie so I kicked her chair very hard about 3 times over about 20 minutes still no response, what a piece of ignorant sh-- , I did thank her at the end of the movie once she decided to turn around to see who was distracting her from her texting.
Same place same situation not me this time a very large and angry foreigner said to a pinoy who was talking on his cp and texting turn your fu----- phone off, the man immediately sh—himself and shut down, within a short time 2 x security guards stood by the foreigner for the duration of the movie, well done big guy.
So today I went to the movie manager and his head security guard and chewed the fat, he was a very nice guy, at first he said but sir this is the Philippines, and my reply yes sir but your patrons should have some curtsey to others that have paid to see a movie, he come around in the end and said they have an audio and visual announcement saying turn off your cp on theatre 1 so now they will do in 2 and 3, also a suggested they use a laser pointer to get the attention of the offenders and if needed go the person and ask them to leave. I asked him what percentage of patrons were foreigner he replied 20% plus, but not sure if he realized that those foreigners have their girl with them so that would be 40% plus.

Would you like a cell phone jammer? I'm still working on putting mine together and working on GSM 900/1800. Of course this is for educational purposes only as it's legal to own but illegal to use. Unfortunately with handheld jammer and such a small battery you can only expect about a 5m radius and about 2 hours of use at that range.

Handheld units usually have a radius of 5-40m (but you'd have to carry a backpack for the battery for longer distance). Car mounted can be 20-200m. Stationary units can go 1km or further depends on how much you want your electric bill to be. I would never even consider making a vehicle or stationary jammer, too much liability and costs too much to make, not to mention extremely time consuming.

Hand held at 5-10m only costs around 50usd in parts to make. Problem is finding the parts here. Once I get better at making it would like to build them into cigarette boxes and the little Nokia phones for camouflage. I think I could sell those pretty easily here.
