I could be wrong but I think merjan asked the marrage question for just another way to see, if she is stating honest prices or setting him up for a scam

 

@marjan- if your asking for the cost, ill give you a breakdown of the prices if you plan on having a wedding in Philippines. the wedding entourage (their clothes rental will probably cost you about 8-15 thousand pesos depending on how many times these gowns and suits been rented this is good for one bridal gown, groom's suit or tuxedo depends on your preference, 3-4 bridesmaids, flowergirl and ring bearer.) food for the guests your looking at 250-300 pesos per head depends on what you want in the menu ( the restaurant will cater for everything including the reception decorations) then you have to pay 10-20 thousand average for the wedding decorations (flowers and florist) then you have to give a donation to the church (like a rental). then you have to buy wedding rings ( for both youll be looking at least 20,000 pesos) so if your asking if 100,000 pesos is a lot of money for a church wedding in Philippines id say no. but this depends on how many guests were there at her sisters wedding and what sort of wedding was it. btw, forgot to mention, if they didn't have a car, they probably had to rent a bridal car for a day which is your looking at 1500-2000 pesos. so if you really do the math, that's probably just an average Filipino wedding considering that Filipinos like weddings because of the food and drinks! youll find that some Filipino couples will save a a year or more of their wages just to have their dream wedding. so cost-wise.its hard to tell because were not there to judge the cost LOL

 

I asked my wife how much her passport was and this is the numbers we came up with (prices are from 2010):

Police Clearance 150
NBI Clearance 150
NSO 300 (paid extra for "express")
Passport 1200

Total for passport + documents: 1800

Trip to Cebu for physical apperance + biometrics/signature: 5000 (wife brought a cousin also, and she had spare money when she came back)

So total for my wife living in Dumaguete: 6800

Bus from Bayawan to Duma: 150 one way (pure guess work, might be little more today).

Some history, iwe been to Duma and met my wife before we started to talk about travelling to Sweden so i knew so she was "the real deal" and was not trying to scam me
so my advice when dealing with woman over skype etc is to NEVER EVER send money before you are 100% sure what you are paying for.

 

TY guys for your understanding and for yours advice :D Alex my question wasn't to marry my gf in philippines and expatron you are right i asked just to see for what she lie me and for what she tell me the true i will never marry some girl if i don't know her very good don't understand me wrong guys if i continue to asking you more questions here on this site but i just wanna to know what kind of character have girls there in philippines what they asking more and what they want to have more and everything else about girls there and really i can't understand how is posibble and why girls from philippines when they wil find some good oportunity to meet some good boy from some country where life is very good more then philipines and also to save them self to better life and better future they want to take all money from boy and with that will lose the boy and chance to go in that good country to change their life to better way, girls there are to much selfish and stupid what they dont think for the future they think only for today and that's all but anyway the girls around all world are almost same also in my country they looking only for boys who are reach like example if are group of few boys 4 of them are poor of in the middle of life with money but 1 boy is reach all girl will go to reach boy they will not speak with other 4 boys they will be nicely only with boys who are reach that's is because the girls they are to much stupid to think fro their future to have better life but some of them from girls they will anderstand what kind of mistake they did it but will be to late t ogo back in the past to change their mistake .

Just wait untill your here in real life Dude...And then you can see with your own eyes what's happening....This girl can be taking you to the bank....and maybe just maybe she is ok...But don't send any money...........God..how can you be so stupid???????????

 

Yes it's true guys that's some of us here on this site we made mistake but it is just once and never again now all of us will know what to do next time hehehhe :D. Btw thanks to all of you for yours advice to me !!!
