The "problem" with freedom is that it always comes with personal responsibility. For the most part people here are not taught that. They shirk personal responsibility, especially if it may cost them something, but scream bloody murder when the shoe is on the other foot and they are the one who feels short changed.
Can you give us a more precise location of that center, I have another bike coming up for testing and I would like to check out the place you are mentioning... Thanks
I can't remember if it is before or after the lto one, but it's not far. I asked the guys in there why it was not busy, stupid question really as the emissions machine is working and how many vehicles would past the smoke test! Maybe 5% ! If I get over that way will try get name of place and post here.
My mrs just informed me the other place is opposite ukay ukay where they hold the fun fair sometimes. Sorry cannot be more precise.
Not sure I agree. I drove for 50 years without a serious accident, even when I was drunk, way back when. Why should I pay and be forced to get insurance with the IDEA I MIGHT cause some harm due to my negligence? What they need to do is make it much harder for people to get driver's licenses. Driving is not as simple as most think, and to be a good driver you need certain skills. Many don't have them. Punish them AFTER they cause harm not before I don't like living in a country with so many laws and regulations you feel like you're in a totalitarian society, which is what the USA has largely become. Add to that the spying f**ks on our government looking up our collective a**es each time we take a dump. Sorry for the strong language, that's just the way I feel.
Is that Hi-Point? Remember seeing it before but where? I have been using P+L for years (across from Cangs) but it is too busy there now and slow. Seems anything that runs is good to go.
Sorry Onlymichael, but you nick seems to reflect your overall feeling to the rest of mankind. I'm afraid I have to disagree with you on the insurance issue: if you don't want to pay for insurance you do not belong on a motorbike or behind the steering wheel of a motorvehicle. It's that simple. Vicmico
If you want to live in a fascist like state that dictates what freedoms you enjoy, I suggest the USA or maybe GB. I believe in freedom for the individual until such time as that individual causes me harm due to their negligence, or maliciousness. I do not believe in punishing people with the THOUGHT that they MIGHT do something bad to me later. WIth your way of thinking extended, we should put people in prison who are LIKELY to cause crimes so they will not do it later. That's a kind of fascism. Oh btw, you can rest easy, I do not drive here and I have no intention of doing so, it's crazy to drive here unless your rich enough to hire a chauffeur.
