Good quiz but some of those questions were judgement calls. Darned straight I would be happier with $1,000,000 a year than 74,000.:D

You're right! B. Probably not. Studies show that even $1 million doesn’t buy happiness. is correct.

Money can't buy love, and it can't buy contentment either – or so says a 2010 study out of Princeton University. The report found that people generally get happier as they make more money, at least until they hit the $75,000 mark. At that point, things level off.

A higher income did impact participants' overall evaluation of their lives, however. Someone taking home $300,000 a year will feel more successful and secure than someone making minimum wage. But on a day-to-day basis, at least, a college teacher making $74,000 a year should feel just as happy as a high-paid chancellor.

Maybe money can't buy happiness, but I'd find it more comforting to be crying in my $100k sports car parked in the driveway of my mansion than crying on a bicycle parked next to the dumpster.

I think the reason many people who are rich seem to not be as happy is because of their personality. Many of the rich have a strong urge to always accomplish more.....which is why they didn't settle for that teacher's salary in the first place. Both my parents were teachers, both happy and content people, but I knew many teachers that were just downright miserable. Happiness is determined by the individual, I don't attribute it to a person's salary. For me, money is happiness.

Happy is not the one who can get what he wants, but the one who wants what he got.

Money may not be able to buy happiness, but it sure as hell can make misery more enjoyable!

Ok we get it, you dont like Wrye beacuse of some little clash in an earlier thread or something.
But you need to take a chill pill and relax a bit because youre just spewing personal insults with no weight behind them.
English is my second language and even i understood what he was trying to say with his comment (hint he wasnt commenting on his own personal situation).
So calm down before you make a total fool of yourself.

I think it's funny that someone might assume that you would not have a loving wife and good cook just because you had a little wealth or that you would become an unhappy miser, there is a lot of good that could be done if one had extra money.
