Best of luck Mark, As the Irish would say.....as you slide down the banister of life, may all the splinters face the other way. JB
Some places Mark you get a medal for 15 years, well survived and thanks for your advice. Good luck for your future and take care.. You can always Re-Visit as a Tourist..
Hi Mark 15 years some time have you been back to the states since you have been in the phillipines? things sure have changed since then it will be a big differance for you.
I know the feeling Mark..I've been in PI over 5yrs and it has started to get to me too. But every time after I go back to the US to visit, I realize that, for all the BS that I put up w/ in PI, I miss it... Anyhow best of luck
'Hasta Luego', 15 years? Guess as a 'New Wave Settler' you haven't been here long enough, to develop a 'backbone'........or that thick a skin.
Never met you but I wish you the best of luck. I am married to a Filipina who I met when I was stationed in subic. I love my wife but am done with the in laws. The reason I am considering Negros or Cebu first are it is a long way for the in laws to travel.
7107 islands, surely you can find one without inlaws! They need to cover that in Foreigner 101. Any time I meet a freshie, I tell them that.
Good bye and good luck...and at least you can hold your head high knowing that on your part you were allways there for your family ...never running around with hookers or ever using family monies for drugs or booze...allways being a stable ,carving sobor father....well done
