Brief Intro

Hello,

I am new here, as you may see, but not new to Dumaguete.
I have my residence here since 13 years now, using Dumaguete as a home between my working-trips all over SE-Asia. Originating from Europe, I am since more since 20 years in south SE-Asia.

A female member of this board convinced me to register, so I did.

I won’t say more about my work. I read during registration here, that this topic is taboo and I break enough of them already.

As my recreational activity, I enjoy taking pictures, long hours of doing nothing and staring at the ocean. In short, being incredibly lazy

Thanks for the welcome. I assume the difference is, that I am not retired and 2/3 of the year working all over SEA. I could not live in Dumaguete as retiree. I would be bored out of my ____ . That is exactly the reason I choose this city 13 years ago, as there is simply nothing to do here, which suits me with my job perfectly.

 

Talking about your job isn't allowed here...?

Welcome to the forum Black Abbot. I also used to work all over Asia and SEA and have come to enjoy Dumaguete.

 

Thanks for the welcome PatO :-) I always enjoy coming here after a work trip, but after a few weeks I am also happy to get away, to be fully honest.
