I'm not sure this is the right place to post, but wasn't sure classified was the right place either .. I'm looking to buy a motorbike and I know there has to be some good used ones for sale but I haven't had much luck finding them. The online places, Sulit etc have slim pickings and many of the used bikes I've seen advertised are over priced imo.. at least considering what you can get a new one for. For example I saw a used XRM at Du Ek Sam, low mileage but it looked like it had been through the wringer and the price was 54K. What I'm looking for is a 100-125 cc in good shape that hasn't been beat to death and have the "racing mods" done to it. I'm not trying to pinch pennys but it just doesn't make sense to me to pay near new price for a used bike. I'll buy a new one before I do that. So if anyone knows of one or can point me in a direction to look for one I'd appreciate it .. not looking for a "fixer upper" btw, was looking for a used scooter a while back and ended up with a new Kymco and it has worked out pretty well for me so far. Not sure why there aren't more around, nice ride.
i bought the kymco super8 125 as well..happy with it except for the whining sound from the cvt...that the dealer says is normal for the bike O-|
I don't know if it's normal but it seems they all do it lol .. you could always put one of those obnoxious loud pipes on to drown out the whine hahah .. big noise = big horsepower ya know LOL
I see ads for the Kymco Visa R110 selling for php32k in Manila [and other cities] on Sulit. I might buy one myself. It would take some looking I'm sure to find something decent used for the same price. Used would be alot more charming if it were already registered.

Sorry Mod 1 .. but it wasn't all bad. As it turned out because of my post Princeton who has the same scooter as me met and he was able to resolve his issue with Kymco about his scooter's abnormal noise by them comparing our two scooters .. After seeing that mine didn't make the noise his did they gave him a BRAND NEW scooter .. he's a happy camper
I think "Mod1" was revering to the post about the XRM that was offered by another member, if I remember correctly it is a 500PhP to have it in the classified section...
I understand s m but since I started the thread I feel at least partly responsible... anyway, looks like I found one (not from the forum).
by the time i started edelting messages there was no fewer than 4 motorcyckes for sale advertised in the thread, some of which did not in any wayresemble what the op aksed for.
