Hello - I am Matthy

I am the Matthy,

and would like to introduce myself to all members,

I landed about 5 years ago in Tacloban (Leyte), after few month I moved to Cebu City and traveled all over the Cebu Island,
since 2 years now I stay in the Dumaguete area.

I am German, born in Hildeseim (Lower Saxony), and the large part of my professional life I worked in Dusseldorf,
of which, 20 years with my own company in the IT sector

I am now a very brave pensioner (65), quite domesticated and love the family life,

I have a question. What places within an hour of Cebu City are still cheap to live, if any?

because of the more and more growing traffic in Cebu City there is nearly no chance to reach a nice and cheap place in between 1 hour, if you take 2 hours by car/bus it will work, to northern and also southern direction, that was exactly one important reason for me to leave Cebu City and to find a nice affordable home in the Dumaguete area,
in the northern reiaon of Cebu Island you can find very nice places, but you have to drive already more then 2 hours,
e.g. San Remigio, Medellin, some with really white sand, very kindly people, but a little bit lonely areas
