Hi Everyone, I am a pinay, leaving the Philippines. Its seems I need a lawyer to exit the country. Any body, know a good lawyers Immigration in Dumaguete to help me? Do I really need a lawyer? There is anyone know, what I need to exit the country? Thank you.
You need a valid passport and P1620 to exit the country. There are other requirements depending on what country you are going to and the type of visa you may be entering their country on. Usually no need for lawyer. Larry
The final decision you may leave the country is made by the Immigration officer @the airport of departure after concluding the interview he/she had with you. What you need to leave the country: valid passport; RT ticket; sufficient financial means to support your trip; reservation for accommodation abroad; letter of invitation; CFO Guidance and Counseling course. There may be more and of course a good lawyer can be of great help, though most likely not for free. Your best bet, talk with a pinoy or pinay who most recently made a trip abroad, though other DI members may come up with more information as well. Wait and see and most of all good luck and finally a happy trip.
One cannot predict what she may need without knowing what visa she has and where she is going... for instance none of this would she need if she were leaving on a US fiance or spousal visa; RT ticket; sufficient financial means to support your trip; reservation for accommodation abroad; letter of invitation;
Agree; the question is a bit vague so I just mention some of the most standards requirements, I was told when leaving the country with somebody else not being my spouse in last month October.
Thank you Larry for your answer is very useful information. I am going to Combodia as a tourist. What else do I need to exit the country?
Hi RR-biker, thank you so much for your informative answer. I have a documents except of the CFO Guidance and Counseling Seminar. Do I really need it? About Lawyer, Do you know a Lawyer Immigration in Dumaguete? Or can process a documents about exit the country? Again thank you.
Theoretically, you do not need CFO certificate to leave on a tourist visa. However, immigration officers can and do make their own rules sometimes, better to have it and not need it than to be asked for it and not have it. Cambodia gives 21 day free admittance to Filipinos, so you do not need a visa. This thread may help you; 21 day visa for Filipina - Visas & Passports - Living In Cambodia Forums No lawyer needed. Last month i was in Cambodia as Tourist(No visa required for Filipinos), Philippine immigration at the airport required the following when you exit the country; 1.) PASSPORT 2.) RETURNED TICKET 3.) RESERVATION OF THE HOTEL 4.) TRAVEL TAX (1,600PESOS) Enjoy your trip! Cambodia is a beautiful country to explore..take at least 2 days for Angkhor Wat, ride a TUK TUK and you will see the big difference compare to Dumaguete tricycle..I have respect to the Cambodians, Dumaguete tricycle driver should learn from them! I found peace in Cambodia...
Hi, may i jump in with a question? We going to leave the Phils too and it will be with a Family Reunion Visa. My GF her kid and our kid. Our Kid is 1 1/2 months old by now and has double citizenship her son is Pinoy. The fee of 1600 Peso at the airport is to pay from every Person who have the Philippine citizenship, baby, kid and adults? So it means we have to pay 3x 1600 P is that right? I wrote already an email to the office about the CFO Seminar how someone can take the seminar if she is travelling with an Infant and a young kid, so far no reply. I mean getting the stamp seems to be piece of cake, sitting there 3 hours and thats it, but still complicated with kids.
