    Hello,

anybody knows where i can change the Peso back to Euro or at least US Dollar? If i leave the Phills now and everything is sold i need to change because its only allowed to take 5 or 10 k in Peso abroad. Do the money dealers on the street sell it at a higher rate? Only at the airport in Manila? Other foreigners? The amount is not so big but still i dont wanna leave it there.

Hope somebody can give me a hint, never was in this situation and dont know what is the best way.

    Thanks all,

    regards, Mark

Hey thanks for the fast reply. Yes the guy in check in was a long time my fav money dealer. We went always there and got the best rates. But do he change the Peso also back into Euro? I mean he change Euro to Peso but also the other way, that would be perfect even if i pay on top, at a not to painfull rate.

    cheers

    Airports...

I know it is a last moment risk, but you may want to try the Airports. Actually Manila airport does not have bad rates as I recall. Maybe even where you are going, you can try the airport there. In Thailand they took small amounts of US dollars ($10) but did not accept Pesos at the departure area of the airport.

Thanks for the replies, as far as i found out the street dealers change peso back to Euro at a rate which is 2-3 Peso differnt then the change Euro into Peso. Also the BDO or Western Union should change a friend told me. So anyways there are ways to change the Peso back to Euro thats the most important thing i needed to find out. Thanks for the help so far.

    Regards,

    Mark
