US sends Battleship to Philippines while China sends Peace Ark

John: My heart goes out to your friends and I hope all turns out well for them. I have never felt that the British do not care and are not doing their part. The British as with the Americans have a strong history of leading the way when others are in need and I am proud of our alliance. My thanks to you and your local effort as it is certainly needed by those still suffering. I do feel though that it was inappropriate for some to use this travesty as an opportunity to post anti-American rubbish. I would prefer focusing on positive affirmation of those nations who have come forward in a big way to help and that includes all of the European countries. Mike
