Hi there, just wondering if anyone is using Hotspot Shield software? Hotspot Shield Elite: World's Most Trusted VPN Service I just installed it and it allows me to get to websites such as primewire.ag (free movies streaming) which are currently blocked by a UK Government Court Order due to copyright issues. What it does is create a phantom ip number which makes one untraceable. It is not my intention to publicize this piece of software for a personal gain, i'm just enthusiastic about it, that's all. I was just asking myself, if anyone has got it installed, if they have ever tried to get to websites such as BBC iPlayer or Demand 5 or any other UK website which are normally restricted to UK based viewers only?? Please let me know, that would be a great alternative to cable tv.....

Yep!! Been using it for 4+ years on our desktop and laptop, and now my tablet. Even though they have now started charging a small fee, it is worth it!! Sorry, I haven't tried those sites you mentioned, but if the only reason you have been denied access is because you were out of country, it should work. I have been thinking of signing up for Netflix, myself. Although, between a few free movie websites online, I just don't think I need to yet. I know when not using Hotspot, I can't get to the sign up page on Netflix. When using Hotspot, I HAVE actually signed up, just not entered credit card info (yup, getting frequent emails from them to start using the "free" trial, that requires credit card).
Ah good info,dont think i need the vpn issue software,but the movie stream site is useful..just got an ipad out side philippines and it comes with net flix and itune videos and im still yet to put my credit card on one yet...want to see as many site options for movies...id rather get a mac slim dvd driver and buy cheap new releases if they work on macs dvd driver...not interested in haveing my credit card info on so many web sites..
We used movie4k (.to) for a long time, but feds cracked down on them and it isn't as user friendly now, but we still use it from time to time. Now we use viooz (.co), good quality and nice selection. Youtube is starting to get a good selection of full length movies, too. I don't care for doing the torrent thing.....I know lots of people do it, but I worry about viruses....
