I have a playstation 1 that was dropped and does not read the disk, possibly the laser is out of alignment, it did work for a while if it was stood on its end but not at all now. Playstation 2 pal need to mod so can read ntsc games – any experts out there?
Sorry I can't be directly helpful but.... my nephew plays PS2 games on his android tablet with a wireless controller and a PS2 emulator. I think he downloads the games for free. Just in case the PS1 can't be saved.

Come on guys we are all kids, I know there are many of you out there who play PS games, I have been reading about the pros and cons regarding fitting a mod chip verses running I think boot program, apparently the chip will lesson the life of your PS station, this is the site free Mcboot you can run your backed up disks and run overseas PS games Pal / ntsc - has anyone done this?
