Hello all readers, Wish you a good day ahead and good luck on your path. May I introduce myself. My name is Norman Born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, seventy years old, after Living in Indonesia 4,6 year, Thailand 5 year, presently living in The Philippines on the island Negros Oriental, Central Visayans. In my working days I did start with a business partner in The Netherlands a employment office for students, Studenten Uitzendbureau ASA. I have 4 grown-up children, have been married twice and live now with my girlfriend who will start this year a study Pharmacy at the NORSU University in Dumaguete. We live in a rented house in Bacong at the moment. When I came to The Philippines I did stay first in Valencia, West Balabag. In the beginning I did suffer from a culture shock coming, after living for 5 years in Thailand, Udon Thani in the North/East and Chiang Rai in the North of Thailand I could not adjust in The Philippines. The homesick feeling for Thailand was intense. But now I rather like it here although I like deep inside Thailand better, also because of the Buddhist faith over there. I have a Hindu outlook on live: Dead is a illusion. We all come from heaven and will return to our eternal home, the Heavens, sooner or later. The soul is never born and it never dies. It is unborn, eternal, ever-existing and primeval. It is not slain when the body is slain. Loving God will bring you back home, back to Heaven. Hope to read and write and communicate a lot over here. Hello Dave, Not necessarily But if somebody want to dive into spirital thinking it is OK with me in a private meeting and if we not stick to the subject :D I am a freethinker, not bound by any religion although I believe in God for sure. Grtz out of cloudy Bacong.

No worries, just please refrain from stating profound beliefs in the future. We try to keep the forum friendly, and part of that requires keeping political and religious beliefs to our selves. Larry
